This little guy is a personal project I’ve been using to try out some new things.

He’s quite small in-game so the feather cards are just to suggest scruffiness rather than being a dense mesh.


He was textured in Substance Painter,  though I’ll also be doing a 3DCoat version as well to try that out.



Sculpted in zBrush from a zSphere base mesh.

I kept the sculpt clean and low key so that the normal map didn’t fight with the hand-painted style of the albedo.



I’m animating him in Maya, rigged using RapidRig. (Animation coming soon)
